Q + A

Can I bring a plus-one and are children invited?

Your save-the-date and invitation will include the names of everyone invited from your household. We totally understand wanting to bring a plus-one, but with limited space at the venue, we’re trying to make room for as many of our friends and family as possible.

If someone’s name isn’t included on your invitation, we kindly ask that you don’t bring any additional guests. We hope you understand, and more than anything, we’re just so excited to celebrate with you in Italy!

What events are planned for the wedding weekend?

We are planning a multi-day celebration, including time to gather before the wedding and the wedding day itself. Our current plan includes a casual welcome/pizza gathering the day before the wedding, with final times and details to be posted on the website as we get closer.

Which airport should we fly into?

Florence Airport (FLR) is the closest major airport to the wedding area. Pisa (PSA), Bologna (BLQ), and Rome (FCO) may also be worth comparing depending on flight schedules and pricing. Our Travel page will have updated recommendations as the date gets closer.

Do we have to stay at one of the recommended hotels?

For the wedding party, we would love everyone to stay in the same place. For everyone else, the recommendations are simply places we think will make the weekend convenient for group transportation and short distances. You are welcome to stay elsewhere in Florence or the surrounding countryside.

Will there be rooms available at the main villa?

There will be a limited number of rooms available at the main villa. This will be reserved for the wedding party and immediate family.

Welcome to Tuscany

Florence

There’s something undeniably romantic about Tuscany. With its rolling hills, sun-soaked vineyards, historic towns, and winding cypress-lined roads, it’s a place that seems to encourage you to slow down and enjoy the moment.

Florence sits at the heart of it all, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, medieval villages, and centuries of history. Wander cobblestone streets, share a bottle of Chianti overlooking the hills, linger over a long Italian dinner, or simply watch the Tuscan sun set.

Things to do

See the Duomo

Walk through Piazza del Duomo and, if you’re ambitious, climb Brunelleschi’s Dome or Giotto’s Bell Tower.

Grab a gelato & explore

Pick your favorite flavor, stroll the cobblestone streets, and take in the piazzas, river views, and historic facades.

Borgo Divino

Set among the rolling hills and vineyards of the Tuscan countryside, Borgo Divino will be our home for the celebration. Dating to the 14th century, the estate brings together sweeping views, incredible food and wine, history, and the unmistakable romance of Italy.

We hope you’ll settle in, explore the property, enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the vineyards, and embrace the slower pace of Tuscan life with us.

With love and gratitude
